Hi there guys

I got the AMD 4200+ dual core CPU with the ASUS A8N SLI motherboard.
2 X 1 Gig hynix RAM

Everything is running smooth and great.

I was just wondering how I could basicall specify my normal programs like outlook, winamp to always use core 0 and my progs like vmware, and virtualdub to always use core 1 etc etc

Evrytime I set them and close the app and open again it selects both cores.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Toms hardware once released a program that would save the affinity setting every boot.
I have an Opteron 175, and find XP handles these request good enough on its own for me.

I think this is what you're looking for, although I don't know why you'd want to manually schedule jobs. The OS will take care of scheduling jobs on the CPU's and do load balancing. If you've got a problem program then you can set it's affinity manually.
