Thats the thing. I'm not so computer savy that I can build a system. The local PC company here wants like 1500 or so to build a system with a good video care like the Bestbuy one... Im stuck..not sure what to do. I'm worried oblivion wont run well.

I would have to agree, its not hard to build your own. I build system for people all the time. Like other people have said you will end up with better quality components building your own. I'm sure you can find all kinds of info on the net for step by step instructions. Plus most motherboard manuals practically walk you thru it as well. The biggest mistake most people make when building their own is using the crappy power supply that comes with the case. Spend the extra money and get a good PSU. Use Newegg and zipzoomfly.com to buy your parts they both have excellent prices and excellent customer service.

Before you buy your parts, make damn sure you do the research and post them here for others to help you.

unbiased reviews are best, as the give you the good and the bad.

things to remember is always plan your new ring useing a good quality PSU, case with good airflow, and good ram

some good manufactuers are: ANTEC, OCZ, FORTRON SOURCE, ASUS, GIGABYTE, CORSAIR, XFX, BFG, EVGA, THERMALTAKE, ZALMAN, LIAN LI, COOLERMASTER, SAMSUNG, PLEXTOR, NEC, LITEON, WESTERN DIGITAL, SEAGATE.

best etailers: newegg, monarch, directron

remember this we all started just like you, exception is now there's better support for you than what we had!

SO YOU CAN DO IT!!!
