I think my 6800GT is slowing burning to death. After installing the latest drivers on NVIDA's website my temps have been through the roof. I am not overcocking. The GPU throttles and games slow. It peaks at 110 C. Right now it is idling at 83 C! I cleaned out my system (dusted, tied up cables to aleviate), still its too hot. However my system is completly stable despite the throttling. The fan is loud as ever as well. I have had it for 2 years and am thinking about an upgrade anyway. It is a leadtek A400. Any advice on a cheap cooling solution for this monster? Any tips would be appreciated.
1) Your posting in the wrong section of this forum.
2) Reinstall your drivers and see if it solves your problem.
3) If a reinstall doesn't solve the problem, rollback your driver through windows.
