I have been using this case for some time now. I am a system builder and build many systems using these cases. We only build with the non-sided (No Window Panels) cases. I personally love it as a builder. The case motherboard can be attatched outside the case. For it's size it's pretty roomy. You can intstall two cd type drives, floppy (or card reader) and two hard drives. It has some very nice features including a nice 420 watt power supply and I almost forgot a handle (to carry). However I also see some things I don't like about this case.

- After spending some time building a system and getting every thing connected, and then you are ready - you push the power button.......and nothing happens. :( About 5 out of the last 7 had this same problem. Slight case mod works everytime.

- The handle was a very nice touch except the handle is plastic (design flaw - great idea but very flemsy).

- The front panel LED (Heat temps of hard drive and cpu) not close. Most of the time the hard drive indicates it's hotter than the CPU. Stick with the temp in the motherboard bios.

 Oh.... a big "PRO" is that you can build any type of system as long as it's a Micro-ATX Motherboard. This is the very reason I use this case. Unlike the shuttle cases (Case comes with a motherboard) Your not locked into a specific processor.

 Your Comments about this case...

 For the people that have used this card please provide your comments on this case.

 If you know of any other case that has the same types of features from than Aspire Q-Xpack I would like to know that also.

Did you have any problems with the power button when you built it :?:

I like it because its a build your own type of a cube case.

 Do you know of any other like this other than Aspire (build your own) :?:

I have an MSI RS482M4-ILD Socket 939, AMD Athlon64 X2 4400+, Mother board has two onboad monitor ports (1xVGA, 1XDVI). I love it!

The X-Qpack has the two DVD drives and two hard drives capability in the small case format. They seem to have some minor problems, but after awile you figure them out. I would like to find another case with those specs without the minor problems at about the same price range(a little more maybe). Thanks for you inputs :!:

Any other comments :?:
always looking for something beter!

:?: Not sure about the power supply but might have enough room to fit - good question. I will see in the morning. I will see if it will take a standard atx power supply (physical fit). :?

:?: The video card should fit depending on the placement of the video slot (AGP or PCIe). The PCI slots have enough room to fit full size PCI cards.

:? No. Will fit length wise but it's too tall. The 420watt that comes with the case is not bad. I have built about 15 now and never had a power supply problem. Power problem caused by front power switch grounding issue.

8) Aspire has the same PSU in clear see-thru panels with LED Fans.

see the problem is i need at least 450 to power my video card
This one?

Reply to samsonite

i have an antec true power 2 series power supply in an x-qpack case its a little tricky to get it in but it will fit and its a standard atx power supply 150mmx140mmx86mm

Reply to pharoah

mine is a 480 watt model but the 500 is the same size i got the 480 because it was readily available at a local store

Reply to samsonite

oops double post i looked at that one on new egg it has the exact physical dimensions as mine so it will fit you will have to unscrew your dvd/cd drive or whatever ya got to position it,and i will add its a tight fit but will hold it
