This printer is pretty old by 'computer' standards... rather than
replace all the ink should I consider upgrading? Would a $200-$250
printer be noticibly better? Thanks a lot! (I mainly print off a
5 mp camera)

The IP4000 can be had for about $120.00 on sale at Fry's. It is a dual
purpose printer great for photos and very good for business. It has
twin paper feeds and prints full duplex with no accessories. I keep
paper in the cassette and us the top loading auto sheet feeder for photos.
The IP5000 may be better because of its 1 picoliter droplet size. I
have not seen a direct comparison between the 2 printers using the same
photograph. However, I would be concerned that the print head may be
more subject to clogging. I do not know for sure and have not read any
reports. It is about $40 plus tax more.
