broken intergrated graphics connector

ive wasted the pins on my intergrated graphics connector.
if i put in an AGP or PCI graphics card will it start straight up? or do you have to go into bios using the intergrated video adapter???hope not

Is it the pins, or the base connection to the motherboard?
If its the pins, try and make sure the ones that remain are not touching each other. If its the base connecting it to the motherboard good luck.
Then yes, hope your motherboard is in plug and play, and put in an AGP or PCI (in top slot if possible)

Modern chipsets turn off the onboard graphics controller when an AGP card is inserted, so try that first!
