Please can anybody help!

We have set up a vpn using Netgear Pro Client software to provide
remote support. All works Ok on a computer connected directly to the
internet with a broadband modem ( ie not routing through a lan or
router) . When trying to connect to the vpn from a computer on the
internal network, it fails.

Has anybody any suggestions to what the problem could be.
