Hello to all the knowlegeable folks on this board. After much thought, I've narrowed my decision down to these two boards...

I'm not so much concerned about an ASUS vs MSI debate, I believe both are reputable, although ASUS has better tech support.
I am mostly concerned with which chipset is superior. Which will give better video performance and which will be more stable?
In either case, I will upgrade to a real video card eventually, but not right away.
Also, I am still very concerned about these boards recognizing the Athlon 64 3200+ (Venice). Newegg doesn't seem to list the "revision" of the MoBos, nor the "stepping" of the processors... and apparently if you don't match the right revision with the right stepping, the system will not post until after a bios update. (Of course I can't do a bios update unless I get the system to post first.)
