Hi,
I've had a Samsung ML-1210 and was very satisifed with it until the
original toner cartridge ran out. I bought a third party toner
cartridge and found the print to be much lighter than with the original
toner cartridge. I then bought another toner cartridge directly from
Samsung and still had the same poor, light print results. Any ideas of
what to try next?

I have a Lexmark E-210, which I think is the same thing, minus the 1210's
toner saver option. I also bought a Samsung 1740 and what you are
describing sounds like what I see when toner saver is on--light prints.
There ought to be a way to turn it off.
