the other option is to find the disk that originally came with your palm.
locate and install pocket mirror by chapura, this will sync your palm with
outlook instead of palm desktop. once that's done your good to go.

Take a look on Palmgear for 'PocketCopy' - it will
transfer all your Palm Desktop stuff into Outlook so
that it can be sync'd with your iPAQ.
