91C GPU temp normal?

Hi. When my GPU is underload, it goes to 91C and over.

On idle is at 70C. On my GPU monitor, it say it will slow down at 145 C.

My GFX card is: GeForce 6200SE TurboCache - 256 mb.

Is this normal?

More about temp normal
  1. is that idle? what brand card is it and is it cooled with a heatsink and fan or just heatsink?
  2. my 6600GT lived at high temps for a year, with stock cooling it got to ~93 and froze in BF2 so its not really a good temp to be at (i replaced my coolder and a month later it died anyhow dam thing) unless the manafacturer botched the temps (can they cause its internal/gpu)?

How hot is the card physically? mine at that temp the back pcb was hot.

well when i touch the case, its not hot. Only the PSU was hot. If it slow down at 145C it should be normal but the metal dont smelt at 100 celcius?
  4. how hot it the card

metal wont melt at 100 but water will boil at 100, but when i things run at high temps for too long it will shorten the life.
  5. I d'ont know because i don't wanna broke anything while opening the case. Who know, there might be a chasis fan?
