HI, I just bought a brand new system and the mobo doesn't detect the 2.3.3.6 dual ram it suggests 3.6.8.5 or something like that. I've got asus A8N32SLI deluxe, with 2gb corsair xms DC ram.

I can go into manual settings but I have no idea what the rest of the numbers stand for and there is allot more settings than just the 4 #.

Also I just manaul set the CL to 2 which I couldn't boot the comp.

further more the ram is pc3200 ddr400, but the bios runs them at 200mhz grrrrr.

I updated the bios but still no luck.

Any1 know how to fix this mobo and auto detect ram stuff?

More about : bios detect ram speed

That is what your RAM is supposed to run at.

200MHz Clock 400MHz effective ( DDR ) it just moves data on the leading and trailing edge of the clock.
