Hey, im gonna be buyin a 19" LCD Monitor sometime this week and am thinking of going for this LG Monitor; http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=318075 Now i dont know much about quality monitors so im looking for your opinion or advice on my choice and is it a good one? Thanks.

although personally i prefer greater resolution it looks a good all round lcd, but i would try to look for an independant review of it in comparison with other lcd's. my advice is google it and see or just take the plunge regardless.

Tom's has multiple articles on LCDs comparing various models. The one the orginial poster linked looks pretty good, most 19" LCDs top out at 1280x1024, to get 1600x1200 you must move to a 20" or larger.

ye 20" or higher have better resolutions in general but some more costly 19" ones do and lets not forget about laptop lcd's, always confuses me why they can have them but desktop ones can't
