hi guys

i heard about Conroe's victory against AMD, and i'd like to say "congragulations Intel"

but will conroe be a socket LGA 755 processor?

No, it will be a LGA775 processor, you'll have to sell your LGA755 and upgrade. 8)

yeah the socket means nothing - there is already like two or three S775 revisions with slightly diffrent pin outs (same as socket370 - 3 diffrent revisions).

You would have to wait till conroe is released to truly know wether the board would work.
