I had to re-install windows recently and now i cant find the driver cd to my asus a8n-e anywhere!! Im using my brothers computer and i downloaded the drivers from the asus website (or what i thought was the drivers) but they give me an error message everytime i try to install them. Does anyone know of a link i can download the real asus drivers. All i really need is the ethernet drivers and the nforce drivers etc... once i get internet on the computer i can go and download the others. I just cant find that cd anywhere.
thanks
I'm not sure if you are aware of this but there is a problem with nvidia drivers and the newest creative drivers. There is a fix on the internet for it. You would have to be more specific on the error for the driver install. I know that you never install the active armor cause it is junk. There are also reported problems with newer nvidia cards on nforce4 boards as well. For the creative problem it would give me weird errors when trying to install the asus update utility. There is a regedit fix for it you would just have to search for it on the net cause I don't have it right off the top of my head.
