Conroe Socket Compatability

Does anyone know if the Conroe is LGA775 and if it will work with the 955X chipset?

Yeah, that's what I've been reading. I was hoping something came out of IDF about it...

Still, it's not that bad for those of us handy with a soldering iron and friendly with mouser.
