Im looking to upgrade my current Athlon 2000+ XP, I have a limit of around £700 UK pounds and shopping at dabs.

Heres what I'm currently looking at.
AMD 3200+
Asustek A8N SLI
Corsair Memory TWINX2048 2x1GB
BenQ 17" Benq FP71G+ 8ms TFT.
NEC DVD+-RW/RAM 16x
DabsXtreme ASPIRE 550W
Western Digital Caviar 250GB 16mb 7200rpm
MSI GeForce 7800GT 256MB PCI-E

£723.16

Or I could change:
AMD 3200+ -> AMD 3700+
7800GT -> 6600GT
TWINX2048 2x1GB -> TWINX1024 - 2x512MB TwinX PRO

£734.13

Your thoughts?

Cheers.

yes as prozac mentioned, keep the 7800gt if you game. difference between the amd cpu's arent as much as the 6600->7800 and 2x1gb is definitely better then 2x 512.

@prozac26
Why would you not pick a sli mobo, apart from the fact that i might never be able to afford to of the same gfx cards :s

@zyzplasmaz
I'll go for the 3200+ and get a 7800GT, but would the 2x512 be better for now and then get 2x512 a bit later?
