Sorry guys.. completely missed the last 100+ thread post on the
subject. Notwithstanding all the discussion.. I have a different
theory. Wasn't the (show-me-your-papers-please) U.S. national id
card unanimously passed either that day or the day before? With
0 votes against? (yup - unanimous).. and isn't the ID Card subject
verboten by the media bosses? (yes it is).. and wasn't that sufficient
to obscure, swamp out, and distract the entire news audience for the
remainder of the week? (yes indeed) Have no proof of course.. it
just seems like the typical media diversion-distraction routine.

Sorry about that. It was current when I sent it. The newsgroup service
I've been using had a glitch, so none of my messages were going through.
Now the glitch is fixed, and everything I posted in the last month is
coming out now, in one batch.
