Voltage options

Is there a way to adjust the voltage on the Gforce 7800 GT cards?

I can Overclock to 491/1.13 on mine, with only a minor glitch with lighting (Something I've noticed happens when it's clocked normaly, though less often, realy ). I'm thinking uping the memory voltage may help clear this up.

I believe that would be set in the nVidia BIOS.

Thanks. I'll take a look at it. The XFX looks pretty close to the reference.

I did the pencil mod on my 8500 SE so many years ago with success to get it to clock at normal 8500 speeds.

With my OC to 491/1.13, temps never got up to 70 in 3DMark06 (Highest was 69 for a second, usually was closer to 63-65). I'll probably stress test it a bit more at that speed before I even think about the voltage mod.

BTW, what is VID limited?

I know enabling the pipelines won't work.

I see, so it may not be something controlled by firmware or some other adjustable thing, hense the need for the pencil mod.

Here's where I'm worried. If this is something I need to do to fix the odd issues (Lines/breaks in bright spots, like one of the 3Dmark05/06 scenes with looking at the guy with the big gun when he's firing it), I'm having these (only in that one scene) normaly, and it's a little worse when OCing. Is this a problem with the card?
