Hey,

I have been perusing these forums for a while now and realize there are some pretty intelligent and informative gents (and ladies here). So I bring to the table my first build I plan to put together:

1 nMEDIAPC HTPC 200BA Black Aluminum/Plastic MicroATX Desktop Computer Case - Retail $124.99   $124.99
1 Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $79.00   $79.00
1 ATI 100-714800 All-In-Wonder Radeon X1900 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail $439.00   $439.00
1 COOLER MASTER Real Power RS-450-ACLY ATX12V 450W Power Supply - Retail $78.00   $78.00
1 AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Manchester 1GHz HT Socket 939 Dual Core Processor Model ADA3800BVBOX - Retail $295.00   $295.00
2 CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model VS1GBKIT400 - Retail $66.99   $133.98
1 Western Digital Caviar SE WD2000JB 200GB 7200 RPM IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive - OEM $88.00   $88.00
1 Western Digital Raptor WD360GD 36.7GB 10,000 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM $101.00   $101.00
1 SAMSUNG Black E-IDE/ATAPI DVD Burner Model SH-W162Z / BEBN - OEM $37.99   $37.99
1 Airnet AWD154 PCI 802.11G Fast 54mb wireless PCI card - Retail $17.99   $17.99
Subtotal: $1,394.95

All Newegg prices, I want this build to a Media Center/Gaming Rig/Server in that particular order of importance. Will be playing BF2 and other FPS on this system with a X360 controller. I am also thinking about trying to get closer to $1000 for this build by downgrading to the X1800 AIW and eliminating the Raptor drive which I planned to use as the WMC O/S home..

Please critique and let me know if this makes any sense.

Thanks for your input
