Quadro FX540 vs FX1400? Do I need the 1400?

Q: Strictly for video editing, after effects 7, compositing, avid, premiere pro 2; Will I see any benifit from using the Quadro FX1400 over the FX540? -or does the diffence only pertain to 3D type programs. For example; might the 1400 render faster in after effects than the 540 since it uses GPU scaling?

Yes the 1400 FX is a better renders better and faster than the 540 however it
is a good card.
