Ok, so I just put together this system. Installed windows, graphics, sound card. Tried to install F.E.A.R. but the thing shut off entirely half way through it. Now when I try to power on I just get a momentary high-pitched "squeak pop" sort of noise. Nothing else.

This is the system:

Athlon 64 3700+
Biostar TForce4 SLI 939
EVGA 7800 GT CO
Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Platinum Pro
Seagate Barracuda 300MB SATA
A SAmsung and a Hitachi ODDs
and a Mitsumi floppy
AND 6 (six) 80mm fans
also an Enermax Liberty 500 watt power supply

Sounds to me like the PSU is not plugged in good enough. Check the connections at the back of the PSU and make sure the connections on the board are solid.

At least that's what it sounds like to me.

That wasn't the problem. The power supply makes a wierd noise when the power button is pressed. Nothing turns on.
