YOu know right now would be a good time for amd to show their numbers. What's holding them back......the ddr2 issue or are they just wanting to lower their stock price..

the memory issue and i think that this is gonna be like 03 when intel has the lead and bam amd crashed their party  just like with k7 agianst northwood (although it did beat it at 400mhz or higher speeds) and the k8 agianst prescott you know what i still cant believe that the k8 beats a prescott up to 1.2ghz higher than it

Yes, the memory issue and maybe a few other bugs. As you can see, they haven't got a preformance gain at the time of this article's posting. As long as they get it right, I don't care if they take a bit longer.

Maybe they are ashamed of releasing such a joke?
Maybe they decided not to release AM2 the way it was a few weeks ago but instead try to raise performance by goin Prescott =)

Well we cannot know what is going on inside AMD corp. My guess, well the it looks like conroe will be out a little before AM2 gets released, so if AMD is going to do anything, then I think they will release their benchmarks before conroe comes to the market.
