P5WD2 PREMIUM and (3) DVD BURNERS ???

BOARD HAS (3) IDE PORTS--(1) BLUE and (2) RED
I WANT TO CONNECT (3) DVD BURNERS: ALL w/own IDE cable(set-up as MASTER)---->
BLUE--PLEXTOR PX-716A (PRIMARY MASTER)
1st RED---LG GSA-4167B (on own IDE cable as MASTER)
2nd RED---LG GSA-4167B (on own IDE cable as MASTER)

SYSTEM::::

PENTIUM D 920 2.8 GHz / 800 MHz
P5WD2 PREMIUM
2 GB--> CORSAIR XMS2 DDR2 (PC2-6400) (TWIN2X2048-6400)
(2) MAXTOR 250 GB S/ATA II 300 (16MB) 7200RPM
--> C: O/S and all other programs
--> D: images, movies, videos i'll be burning

QUESTIONS::::

(1) will this config work?
(2) what other DVD BURNERS will work on RED IDE ports?
** asus tech-supp says plextor px-716a will, but doesn't know about any others
(3) can I burn same image on all 3 at once?
(4) all 3 @ 16X with right media?

***ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR DIFFERENT CONFIG WELCOME!!!

1. Don't see why it won't work. Should from looking at the paper specs.
2. They're burners... any should work. I use lite-on myself. If the mboard was restricted to using 1 type of burner, that would really be stupid.
3. Nero can do it, but you need a retail version. I think the max w/o getting more licenses, etc, is 3.
4. All at 16x may be hoping for too much. It depends on the software and if the hardware can keep up. I don't know, but hey, its worth a shot!
