I did it write...but still stuttering

Hi all..

I have MS Dual Core Hotfix installed....and i did the thing in registry which i have to do ... but still i am getting the stutters when running Need for Speed Most Wanted....

PS Help...

I have AMD X2 4400+
Nvidia 7800 GT

How much RAM do you have on that machine? Also, what about HDD. These things attribute to overall machine performance. If you don't have enough RAM, that will certainly cause problems.

I have not used AMD Patch....where can i disable cool and quite???

I have 2 GB ( 1 GB x 2 ) Patriot RAM . Running in Dual Channel with timings of 2.3.2.5

and i have WD 250 GB Sata HDD - around 150 GB still free....

Try changing the affinity in Task Manager of the process to use 1 CPU, some games stutter with both CPU's set to the game.

You can disable cool&quiet in your bios. Also, try setting the affinity like Mike said. You can also try adding the /usepmtimer parameter to the end of the boot line in the boot.ini file.
