16:10 support on radeon 9800 pro 128-bit?

I'm thinking of buying a widescreen LCD, either 19" or 20".

Does anyone know if radeon 9800 pro will support the needed resolutions (1440 x 900 for 19" and 1680 X 1050 for 20")?

According to ATI's website those resolutions are not among the 20 declared resolutions for the 9800 series.

Dell support site does how ever state that 9800 pro will run their 1680 x 1050 20" widescreen LCD's

Allthough catalyst controller does display all possible resolutions as available, I’m reluctant to take that as proof that my card will actually work when I connect my new LCD.

Can anyone help me?
