Just keep in mind what other components you have in your system (CPU/HDD/RAM etc) as they all play an integral role at load (especially the CPU/Gcard/RAM combination) wattage.

What are the rest of your system comprised of?

Basic setup really.

3.2 GHZ (ASUS P5AD2-E Premium)
7800 RPM SATA Maxtor drive 160GB
2 GB RAM
Audigy 2

That's about it. My DVD drive is external.

You think 549.00 is too much to pay for the XTX? well, - 10% discount which would put it around 500.00

I can't comment fully on the price, as I'm in South Africa and a XTX will cost almost $1000 here.

But, I have purchased from Amazon on some visits, and I guess $500 is a good price for the XTX, but would advise on getting a XT - at 100fps who cares if the XTX gets 103fps? :D
