Is it possible to convert a MatLab 1998 student version that runs on a 32 bit Windows XP platform to run on a windows 7 64 bit platform?

As long as it doesn't require any special hardware, you can run it in Win XP mode on Win 7 Pro.

Thanks for your fast reply. I have Windows Home Edition. How do I get to Win XP mode?

You only get Windows XP mode with Windows 7 Pro and above... it doesn't exist for Home Premium.

Matlab will work in win 7, no need for xp mode.
