Yea, you're liable to burn the s**t outta both the cpu and motherboard socket. I would recommend not doing that as you'd lose both the mobo and cpu in the overclock attempt. Even professionals can only get cpus up to a certain point. The most I've seen is like 5.5ghz. On a happier note...at least it isn't an Intel cpu. You would probably have a pile of molten metal and a fairly large hole growing ever larger : ) .

Yeah the Engineering department at school here got a 3.8ghz intel up to 7 ghz with liquid nitrogen cooling on both the chipset and the processor. It was only stable for 10 minutes. :(
