The mainstream 65W Conroe is expected to top-out at 2.66 GHz at introduction; an Extreme Edition is expected with 3.33 GHz, which theoretically means that AMD will have to offer the equivalent of an 4+ GHz Socket 939 Athlon to match the fastest Conroe.
