I just ordered a DELL UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1-inch
but my current graphics card doesn't go up to 1680 x 1050 resolution.
According to my MOBO MSI 8K8MM MS-6741, it supports AGP 8x/4x 66MHz 32-bit channel. I have a Gateway 816GM, Athlon 64 3400+.
My system must be able to support WSXGA+ resolution (1680 x 1050).
So what would be the most cost effective card for me...I want crisp graphics and great video quality...gaming I'm more than willing to compromise on since I don't relly play any games.
Also, no fans, and must use little processing power...it shouldn't cost more than $60!
Ah, and which brand would be better, ATI or NVIDIA in my case?
Yees, one more thing, DVI-(I/D??) is a must.
edit: What is DirectX® 8.1 or 9 and OpenGL® 1.3, and what do I need dirX8 or 9??
