Setting up default mail client on my computer

Hello,
i tryed sending a message via email and it said i had to set up my default mail client up and how do i do tha?

first you need to install a client like Outlook, Thunderbird, or MS mail client, which comes with Windows Live Essentials. However, you also need a email account that can be configured with these programs.

a regular Yahoo account for example will not work.

You need to find the setup info for your internet provider. Here is the page (for example) for AT&T's info: Email Support .

See the box that shows the "Email Program Settings Field:". These are what you need for your mail client.
