Don't you think that a users requirements have some bearing on this?
Without stating *your* needs you'll get things that are 'the best' for their
needs, not yours.

Although the majority of users here *seem* to be iPaq owners, I'd look hard
at Dell's Axim before parting with your hard earned. I did months of
research and settled on the X30 High, and have no regrets. Bluetooth and
wireless work flawlessly for me. I only wish it came with more than 64 MB of
RAM.

I have both models. WM2003SE on the 4705 is definitely a better internet
and web browsing experience; however, an integrated phone offers instant
messaging advantages that the stand alone doesn't.
The 6315 had a number of issues that are well chronciled on various forums
when it first came out, but it appears that HP and T-Mobile are taking care
of those issues with software updates. The wifi on both models is fast and
works very well.
I prefer the 4705, but I think it comes down to I would rather have my phone
seperate from my PDA.

I own a 6315 and love it. It is not as fast as my 3970 but if you are
looking for a fully integrated device there is simply nothing better.
Together with my T-Mobile plan and Exchange 2003 Active Sync feature I am
allways connected to my corporate messaging system. It really is unreal and
I got my company executives to kill the BlackBerry project because of its
keyboard. FYI though, i dont like the included case and it tends to not
respond very quickly (it could use more horsepower).
Either way always consider your requirements and needs; my main requirement
was connectivity/access in a single device (GPRS, Wifi, and Bluetooth - you
can't beat that)

It's a matter of priorities in some cases. Some people have CD and DVD
collections to rival Blockbuster and Media Play. Some have car payments that
rival my house payment. Some decided to raise a baseball team personally.
Some have more than one PDA.

Or save money along the way for when they see something they want Took me 4 years to buy a Psion 5mx after I discovered Psion, but I
got it eventually. that's now well over 3 years ago.
I didn't like PPC's back then }

'The best' is relative. You'll have to decide for yourself exactly
1. What you want
2. How you want it
3. When you want it
4. How much you want to spend on it
5. Etc.
Once you got that sorted, why don't you report back here and hear
the various opinions on devices that can meet your needs?
