How do I uninstall intagrated graphic card in the motherboar

I have windows XP and Im trying to install my new graphic card. How do I check my BIOS and disable it?

From the times I've installed a video card to a system that has intergrated video, just by puting in the video card, disabled the intergrated one.

I've usually have the instinct to check the bios for any intergrated devices to be disabled, but yet I haven't seen a bios to where the video is to be shut down.

Typically you have to press the Del key when the system is posting. Verify the procedure in your mobo manual...It should tell you the procedures for disabling onboard graphics, entering the BIOS and installing a videa card.
