Laptop Power Connector

I have an Acer TravelMate 4062WLCi, it's about a month old and for some reason i have to jiggle the power cable to get a proper connection. I really don't want to send it in for repair so does anyone have any idea how I can fix it myself?

it's most likely the power adaptor. happens all the times with cables. i had an optical mouse that i need to play around with before it will work. ended up replacing it. recommend you replace the power adaptor also.

i dunno the repair might be cheaper

my dad's laptop had a diff prob his power adapter got cut and wouldnt work, $65 plus shipping from Dell..
