I think Clinton has done a great job.

She is well respected and it is sad she is retiring.

I can see how Bill must have really benefitted from having her at his side when he was pres.

Behind every great man is a great woman.

That seems to be the case here.

Grow up already and have some seriousness in your life once in a while really. We are talking about our future here not this idiot you mentioned.I am sure you are intelligent and just kid around sometimes to much.

Don't know anyone on the plate. Considering the people Obama surrounds himself with, I have no idea who he would look to appoint. Clinton was ok, not the best, but honestly the best choice Obama could have made.

Watched a movie last night.. horrible movie, Assassin's Bullet. The Ambassador says in the movie, "I don't really know what I'm doing, I own a few dealerships back home and gave enough money to get him elected to get this position. Maybe if I gave more money I could get a better position."

That was a good movie and it brought home a point.

You want me to be serious? Ok, John Bolton.
November 27, 2012 1:33:55 PM

John Bolton was good and very smart. I don't think he would want to represent Obama's agenda though.
November 27, 2012 3:35:02 PM

Probably going to be John Kerry. John Bolton would make a better security advisor in my opinion.
November 27, 2012 3:39:14 PM

John Kerry is a bad choice all around in my opinion. He's too controversial.. and by golly, pay your damn taxes on your yatch already. Tax evader..
November 27, 2012 3:41:07 PM

When it comes to protecting American sovereignty, interests, and freedom John Bolton is like a rabid pitbull. That's why I would choose him. Or, at the very least, let him represent us at the U.N. again.

The reason I say it will probably be him is because of all the foreign policy experience he has and because Rice has been taking a beating.

I hope you are right Kerry will be much better than Rice. He has greater experience than her in foreign affairs.

And he served in Vietnam, let's not forget.

But seriously, what exactly is all this foreign policy experience Kerry has? He's spent most of his time as a US Senator, not working in the State Dept. or foreign services division.
November 28, 2012 1:46:31 PM

He heads the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and has been dispatched to multiple countries to deal with issues. I think he's been to afghanistan, pakistan and sudan recently.

I've been to a few foreign countries too. Does that qualify me?

What has he actually accomplished though?

At this stage in the game it really doesn't matter who he appoints. No one that Obama would consider would go against the party line and oppose Agenda 21, the Small Arms Treaty, or improve America's relationships in the Middle East. Obama is going to appoint someone who will blindly follow the party line and not question the decisions of the White House.

I'm picking up a 22 rifle and 22 handgun. I figure that's where people get it wrong in the zombie apocolypse. They all go for the big heavy guns. If you can kill a zombie with a screw driver to the head, why not a 22? I can carry a ton of ammo, it's fairly quiet.. oh plus its Israel's preferred way to assassinate people in crowded areas.

Did you see the Sons of Guns episode on the "Zombie Gun". They did a .223 AR platform and a .22 custom. Both semi-suto rifles with extended magazines. The .22 beat out the .223 and one of the categories was how much ammo you could carry. So, your instincts are correct sir!

Took advantage of the Black Friday gun sales myself and snagged a Ruger 10/22, which I highly recommend as your .22 rifle! Proven, reliable, and tons of after market mods available.

And, the 50 rds. extended magazine is very reliable. I own 3 and they have never jammed. I take good care of maintenance though too.

What is so impressive to you? Utter nonsense with these so called wise ass remarks.
December 1, 2012 1:07:17 AM

Marv I was just commenting how the topic had gotten derailed.

Wise ass is my middle name.

Was there any reason to attack me personally though?

What If I was some kind of meek and sensitive kind of guy ... you could have damaged my self esteem ... I might have cried.

Thankfully I'm mentally as tough as an old boot.

Speaking of old boots ...

:)

How are you going?

Don't be to proud with this title you claim.I am sure you are a good person and have good virtues.
December 2, 2012 1:48:23 AM

Yes old JD is our moderator elder statesman ... a real Kissinger.

He would have made a good negotiator during the cold war but alas ... he chose to be a hairdresser (same skillset less pay) or something like that ...

:)
December 2, 2012 3:09:45 AM
