I think I screwed up

My new rig won't detect my WLAN card. It only sees it as a 'PCI Device'.
Is there any way to remedy this???

That's correct. Just install the driver for it.

Just go into the device manager and go into properties for the device and load the drivers for it. That should take care of the problem.

That's the problem. It only shows up as a PCI Device, and it always says it can't find the drivers...

You point it to the CD that came with the card and it says it can't find the driver? Did you run the installation utility on the CD?
