i have an evga 6800gt in pcix and it runs in the 50c at idle and after a game it is 100 to 105c i have good airflow so i dont know also this is after
i added 2 more 512s so i can get to the desktop instantly in stead 45sec or with just the 2 512s after leaving a game
so anyway the card cools down quickly and it runs fine but like prozac said
i am a little worried

My xfx 6600gt runs at about those temps when OCd. No artifacts or anything like that. I'd say that's pretty normal, even at stock speeds.

what type of case do you have, I have same card overclocked and I dont reach that temp on nfsu2 on full resolution, that is a game to check temp with. max temp 68c. I slightly modded my case by putting a 120mm fan on the side where it would introduce cool room air. If you have a 80mm side fan, get adapter and try 120mm fan, always worked for me.

70 C under load is not high for a 6600GT. What do the drivers tell you about it? I had a XFX AGP 6600GT that was bad, and it would hit 102 degrees, which freaked me out. yet the drivers had anything under 100 degrees as green, and 102 C turned yellow just. So I'm guessing in the 90's was still fine, although i'd never be happy knowing it was that high.
