Do you need the PSU to support SLI if I have ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard but I don't have two video cards ( maybe in the future) I have a eVGA 256-P2-N516 Geforce 7800GT CO SE 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 VIVO PCI Express x16 Video Card. Please if anyone can clear this up for me.

You don't need a ps that supports sli to run sli, it's just a recommendation, a good one to follow however. Get any high capacity ps and it's almost certainly going to work however.

Then it would be wise to buy a SLI supporting PSU to give you future upgrade options
