I want to link mt 2 machines. There about 15 meters apart(40 foot).

IS the new wireless .11G as fast as a ordinary wireded 100/10 connection. If i use a wireless it will have to go through 1 wall.

Please advise. Cheers

802.11G is 54Mbps, so it will be slower than running ethernet at 100Mbps, but the wall shouldn't be any problem, so I think you are good there. You'll mostly only notice a difference when copying big files.

I'm using a 64K ISDN line. What effect will it have on the preformance of my internet connection?

It won't effect download speeds because the internet connection is way less than the network bandwidth.

There may be a little more latency using wireless instead of a cable, but I don't think you will notice it even if there is.
