how can i tell whether my raid setup is hardware or software? i have two chips (VIA VT6410 and my southbridge (Intel ICH6R)), i'm currently not using the intel one, so my IDE Raid 0 (the VIA) is the one i want to find out currenlty, and i would like to know what the intel one is.... any ideas? or where/how i can find out?

BTW, i had to press F6 to install raid drivers... i think that means hardware raid right?

oh yeah, and is it possible for hardware raid to tax your CPU or do they always have their own (processing?) hardware?

Thanks,
Ara
