I want to buy a realistic throttle quadrant. I like the look of the
GoFlight GF-TQ6 but it is a little pricey.
Is it worth the money or is there a good alternative? I don't like the CH
products one, it looks naff and really want the reverse thrusters if poss as
I will be using it with the PMDG 737

I don't have either one. Have read that the GoFlight feels heavier,
hence more realistic. As for reverse thrusters, what you need to get
them on any throttle (including the GoFlight and CH Products quadrants)
is a registered version of FSUIPC. Download it here
http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and check out the documentation in
the zip archive. That will explain how it works, and you can decide
whether it's worth paying for. (There are many other features, too, but
you sound like you want to make an informed choice.)

If you are looking for some more info on the 737 throttle, or need some motivation to keep going, there is a site i have found . This site is by no means finished but it does seem to showcase the 737 throttle quadrant and it looks like there maybe some data coming up on building your own. Hope this helps.
