right now i have a radeon x800xl pci-e card running on a vaio pentium d 2.8 dual core with 2gb of ram

i mostly play bf2 and i wonder how much of a boost i would see in performance if i get my hands on a nvidia 7800gt oc pci-e card

i looked on several different forums and couldn't find any kind of comparison

thanks in advance

the two you mentioned are out of my range:
too many other bills/priorities

plus i'd have to find a way to dump the 800
according to ebay, i'm looking at maybe $199
and that's for brand new...

I have the X800pro and my 7800GT is better in performance when playing BF2. But if you want to upgrade I'd say get the 7900GT which is like a 7800GTX 256 is steroids and it's cheaper. :D

Stick With Your Radeon X800XL , If You Dont Have Enough Cash To Pay For A 7900GT , 7900GTX or X1900XT ...
Because You Wont See a Big Difference in BF 2 If You Upgrade To 7800GT
