Hi Gamerz...I need some suggestions for a case for a ATX mid tower gaming rig Im about to build. The contents will be an AMD 4400 X2, 2 GB CorsairDR400, 74Gb Raptor and a 250 Gb SATA II HDD, Id like to keep the case price under $100 and although Im a NEWEGG fan, Id like to not pay $20 USD for S & H. A fav case site, ichibanpc.com is under construction. Im adding probably an NEC3550A DVD burner and an old 8X ATI 9800 Pro 128 Mb vid card. My PS will >550 W Antec or Thermaltake or Coolermaster. I like LIAN cases but they seem priced at the same levels as their competitors. I welcome any and all ideas from you pros. Thanka!

PS-I dont need flashing neon pimp lights in/on the case or a viewing port window like the aquarium. A 80 or 120 mm case fan would be great!

I was in the same situation recently, deciding on a case can be a hard decision. I built a system for my bro recently, AMD 64 3800+, 1 dvd-r, 1 floppy, 160 gig sata hd, 550 watt psu, audigy 2 zs, 2 gigs corsair ram, Ati X800 pro and I ended up using this case for him, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811144077
Fairly inexpensive, looks cool and seems to do a good enough job keeping everything cool inside. The case is not built out of the best material but then again it is pretty cheap on the price as well. Also can fit up to 5 fans I believe, including a 120mm fan in the back for exhaust. I know most people will say get a Lian Li but I would also check out the cooler master, you can get cases in the centurion series for fairly cheap. It all depends on if you are price driven, I used this case for my setup http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811112057

I wish I could get your LIAN case for the price of the Aspire case...the LIAN price is way too rich for me. Is there any "middle ground" case suggestion?

Thanks.
