Anyone got any intel on this mobo:

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 Socket 939 ULi M1695 ATX AMD Motherboard

I want to use it for my ATI 9800 Pro but the reviews are mixed. I like the flexibility this mobo offers but if it wont work with my vid card then its toasted oats. Who the hell is Uli chipset? Never heard of them. And how is the user manual? Thanks.

Who the hell is Uli chipset
dont you remember the ALI chipsets back in the day. its them.

I have used the board and it is fine. easy setup. no driver needed for sata if configed right. and for the price.

the only negative aspect i can see is that the AGP is lower so if u have a dual slot cooler(my 9800 pro has zalmans cooler on it) it will take you down to 2 pci slots.

on the plus side PCI-E when u want it down the line.

I had one for a couple of weeks, though it was refurb and pci-e slot didn't work. It worked good though other than that. Also my friend has had one for a while now and upgraded from a 9600 pro to 6800gs without any trouble and the board ran both good. Fast and maybe slightly slower in the agp area compared to other but not enough to get mad about especially if its just to hold off untill you get a pci-e card. Just don't go refurb  Here is some reviews from quality sites:
