so one of my harddrives goes down in my server raid 5 array.. di roder a new one from them.. no biggie.. just a 36gig 10k rpm drive.. well got the box today.. i recived a 300gig 15k rpm drive insted.. all the paperwork says its the 36 gig.. but someone messed up majorly.. so i got a $1000 drive for $200..

now to go order another 36 gig drive...

Never seen a 300GB 15,000 RPM hard drive; biggest I've seen was 147.

damn i guess since that other guy was talking so much crap all the time you guys are suspicious of everything.. huh.. well i alreay posted the link to a 300gb scsi.. ill take a pic tommorrow when i get to work..

Larger than 300GB SCSI drives also exist.

The point here is there are no 300GB 15,000 RPM drive.
You most likely got a 10,000RPM one.

yeah i did make that mistake.. i read the wrong thing. it is 300gb but its only 10k.. although.. thats still a stupid ass mistake on dells side...
