Hey everyone. The topic says it all really. I know that I will eventually be getting a DVD burner for my regular computer at home (I only have one in the house at all, and that is on my server).
So does having a sata interface on a burner help out at all? And if it does help, how? This has been bugging me for awhile now and I finally decided to try and find out. Thanks for your help.
Well in my opinion , i dont think SATA makes much of a difference then IDE. Infact IDE or SATA speeds dont even come into picture when using it for Optical Drives..
The only reason i find for upgrading to SATA is better cable management and getting rid of the FAT IDE cable.
