Hey all,

got my 7600GT today, been tuning it all day! finally managed to do a full benchmark, only to realise some guy with a 7600GT 256(basically same as mine) got 800 more marks than i did, and as if that's not bad enough, his AMD and ram were all set slower than mine by miles! what i going on?

How about posting your specs and letting us know what you're running.

get the latest drivers and i assume your talking about 3d mark06. give us a link to your result as well. also look do a direct compare with that guys result and go over them both if your really worried.

it's actually 05, i'm gonna do an 06 now.

the 7600Gt is overclocked like mad as well, 642Mhz core, 810 ram

tired my best on my AMD 64 venice core 3500+ it's now at 10X 254mhz i.e. 2540Mhz

2X512 on dual channel at 254 obviouslt, timings 3-4-4-8

2X 80G WD carviar SE sata on raid 0+2

i don't have ither programmes running in the back, so how can this guy possibily beat my system by a good few hundard scores?
