I have a SmartPower 500 and it is a nice piece of equipment. It has modular cables, runs very quietly, and has given me no problems. However, it would be better if it had a fan in the bottom.

The smartpower series are lower quality components when compared to Antecs TruePower series...
Sorry, but the TruePower line are better quality than the SmartPower line...

Oh, I know. I was just saying that the SmartPower unit is decent, such as the AMD Opterons are of better components than the Athlon 64s but the A64s are still good parts.

the TruePower is a higher end line of psu's from antec. the Smartpower is quite good and nice with it's modular cabling. i had a Smartpower 500 in the past but returned it within a month - not due to any deficiencies or anything.

I needed two new psu's about 2 weeks ago and got the TruePower II 550w and am very pleased with them.
