I just looked at the Nvidia website, on the front page there is a count down to a new Geforce GPU, I can't wait, I was a little disappointed with the 7900, not fast enough to make choosing between ATI and Nvidia easy, it would just be a case of which company you liked, anyone know anything about the new GPU?

Its just the fact that they say "A new NVIDIA GeForce GPU is coming", the 7300 and 7600 are already out, so a different version wouldn't be a new GPU, I could be wrong and reading into it to much, but I just have a feeling its something more.

You'll see at GDC. We told everyone to look for more announcements from Nvidia. I wouldn't get my hopes up about something bigger and badder than 7900GTX or Quad SLI.

Right click on the flashing banner and click play, and it talks about the 7600 series. I'm guessing it's a 7600GS. Unless it's cheap enough; yawn.

Do you guys remember the huge "power of three" that NV had going on their site. That ended up being so lame and nothing new whatsoever. So I just don't expect much; hopefully I am wrong.

No no, you're thinking too small, it's gotta be a GF7600 based integrated solution! :twisted:

Hey, But the power of 3 brought us a new mascot, something that loks more like the average gamer than Dawn, Nalu or Ruby;

Well sorry to disappoint but as I started it so I will end it, if you go to www.nvidia.co.uk there is a small banner on the page, just right click on it and press play, and this is the sad part! :cry: 7600 gs!!!! I now hate Nvidia, I don't know why I got my hopes up, I was mislead and a fool.

In reply to Bront:
Why does it say 4 days and 22 minutes for me?

I'd guess it's probably the 7900 Go

Well, maybe you are moving at like 0.8c relative to the website, therefor its clock is running slower to you. :?

The UK nvidia site has that countdown stating the 7600gt, not sure if they made a spelling mistake, or maybe the 7600gt isnt out in the uk yet....

Can't find the link about the 7600gs, or the countdown on the us nvidia site.

if it isn't out in the UK and its gonna be released soon ... why would they put the timer in main page of nVidia www.nvidia.com while its already out for the rest of the world? no i don't think its about the 7600GT ... i guess its something else ... probably something overpriced with striking performance and a gigabyte of ram :eek: ... i hope so!

Meh, I can't find what you guys are talking about, all I see are some media center thing, and that changes into an ad for the 7900 and 7600. And there is a small ad in the highlights part, but that just has the countdown at says "performance you want at a price you can afford, 7600 GT" Anyways, I guess ill just wait a few days and find out.

Ah, yeah that never came up for me, maybe I was just too impatient heh. So, 7600 GS... hmm, it better be like $140 or less, otherwise its pointless
